Career, Immigration, Licensing and Certificate Disclaimer

This Disclaimer explains the limits of the information, tools, scores, reports and certificates provided by SkillShift+, operated by Intellidu Canada Inc. It forms part of the SkillShift+ Terms of Use and applies to every part of the Platform.

This Disclaimer must be linked from, and is deemed incorporated into, each of the following: course pages, certificates, Career Reports, the Skill Passport, the AI Interview Coach, the Resume Builder, the Licensing Navigator and checkout.

• Career, occupational, wage, demand and outlook information on the Platform is general educational information. It is not tailored advice about your particular circumstances.
• We do not guarantee employment, a job interview, a job offer, a particular salary, a promotion or any career outcome.
• Labour-market conditions change. Information that was accurate when published may become out of date.
• Employer requirements vary by employer, region and role, and are set by the employer, not by SkillShift+.
• You must verify current requirements with the relevant employer, industry body or government source before making a decision.

• Immigration content on the Platform — including pathway overviews produced by the free Career Readiness Assessment and the paid Career Readiness Report — is general information only.
• It is not individualized immigration legal advice and does not create a professional relationship of any kind.
• We make no promise of permanent residence, a work permit, a study permit, selection under any programme, or any other immigration outcome.
• Immigration law, programme criteria, points thresholds, draw scores and processing practices change frequently and without notice.
• Eligibility depends on the full facts of an individual's situation, including facts the Platform does not collect.
• Where advice is needed, obtain it from a person authorized to provide it — a lawyer licensed in Canada, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, or a Quebec notary, as applicable.
• Always confirm current requirements with the responsible authority, including Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and the relevant provincial or territorial programme.

• NOC references on the Platform, including those in the course catalogue, are provided for orientation and study purposes.
• A job title alone does not establish a NOC code. Classification depends on the actual duties performed and the circumstances of the employment.
• The lead statement and main duties of a NOC unit group, as published by the Government of Canada, govern classification — not a title used by an employer or by SkillShift+.
• The NOC system is revised periodically. Codes, titles, TEER categories and groupings change between versions.
• Misclassification can have serious consequences for immigration, licensing and employment applications. Verify the correct classification with the responsible authority or an authorized professional before relying on it.

• SkillShift+ courses do not grant, replace or shorten any professional licence, certificate of qualification or regulatory approval.
• Courses do not replace apprenticeship requirements, Red Seal certification, college or university programmes, examinations, supervised practice hours or credential-assessment requirements.
• Regulated occupations in Canada are governed by provincial, territorial or federal regulators, each with its own requirements. Requirements differ between provinces and change over time.
• The Licensing Navigator provides a general orientation to Canadian licensing, credential and occupation requirements. It is a starting point for research, not an authoritative determination.
• Only the responsible regulator can determine whether you meet its requirements. Confirm requirements directly with that regulator before enrolling, relocating, applying or making a financial commitment.

Acceptance of a SkillShift+ certificate by any third party is at that party's sole discretion. We do not represent that any employer, regulator, college, university, immigration authority or government body recognizes, accredits or accepts SkillShift+ certificates. Where recognition matters to you, confirm it with that organization before purchasing.

We may revoke a certificate obtained through cheating, misrepresentation or breach of the Terms of Use.

• The Skill Passport score (0–1000) is an indicative measure of workforce readiness generated from activity recorded on the Platform.
• It is not a credential, a qualification, a psychometric assessment, an aptitude test, or a determination of employability.
• It is not issued, endorsed, validated or recognized by any employer, regulator, educational institution or government authority.
• It depends on the accuracy of the information you enter. Inaccurate input produces an inaccurate score.
• Scoring methodology may change as the Platform develops, and recalculation may move a score up or down.
• Points obtained through manipulation, duplication or false evidence may be removed and the score recalculated.

• AI output on the Platform is generated automatically and is not reviewed by a person before you see it.
• It may contain errors, omissions, outdated information or bias.
• AI-generated scores, feedback and recommendations are informational and are not determinations of ability, employability or eligibility.
• AI does not make final employment, immigration, licensing or admission decisions on the Platform. You may request human review of an AI-influenced result that materially affects you.
• Important decisions should not be made in reliance on AI output alone. Verify with the responsible employer, regulator, institution or authority.

Use of the Platform does not create a solicitor-client relationship, a consultant-client relationship, an employment-agency relationship, an educational-institution relationship, or any other professional or fiduciary relationship between you and Intellidu Canada Inc. or any of its personnel. Nothing on the Platform is legal, immigration, financial, medical or accounting advice.

The Platform may reference or link to government publications, regulator websites, labour-market data and other third-party sources. We do not control that content, do not warrant its accuracy or currency, and are not responsible for it. Government and regulator sources are authoritative; SkillShift+ summaries of them are not.

1. Provide accurate and complete information about your education, experience, duties, credentials, language results and status.
2. Verify occupational, licensing, credential and immigration requirements with the responsible authority.
3. Obtain professional advice from an authorized person where your circumstances require it.
4. Confirm with an employer, regulator or institution whether a SkillShift+ certificate is acceptable to them before relying on it.
5. Treat all scores, reports, recommendations and AI output as informational input to your own decision-making, not as a determination.
